Steve Kondo sent me this beautiful blank. After some searching on Signature Pen Supply it found what I thought was the perfect kit, the Chrome Jr. Harold. After a bit of planning I found the best use of the blank to show off the sap and heart wood. I sanded the blank to 12000mm and finished with Wood Turner's Finish. All C & C welcome. Thanks for looking

That's a great piece of wood, and a nice looking pen. Looks like there might be a pit there that didn't get filled in? I get the same thing sometimes with a friction polish, even after using the sanding filler. I don't think it looks terrible, and "proves" it's real wood. Oh, and for me, I really prefer straighter lines--just MHO, since you asked. :)

Regards,
Michael
