I haven't shown off many of my pens, but I think these deserve it. The first one is from one of Jeff Powell's blanks and went to my dad. The other 2 have been inspired by wiset1. The 2nd is lapis true stone and went to my mother and the third one is bocote, birdseye maple, and holly and went to my sister. I have to say that scalloped pen is the best pen I have made since I started in March. Sorry about the poor Iphone photos.

IMHO i think scalloping is easier than knots because you can use a sander and don't have to get a perfect cut. Even though i started in March, I made it into my summer job before I went to college. So I think i have progressed faster and tried more techniques and materials both because of this site and trying to get out new inventory.
