So she finally decided to break into the clay goodies we bought recently. First attempt at cane work with leaves and flowers with wandering vine and swirl background.

Lots of lessons learned and I feel like she's off to a great start.

Excellent work Chrissy.
Nice job on the Fit and Finish Carl.
I can see that as a Pen Making Duet you two are going to be a force to be noted.
What brand of Clay did Chrissy use?
Congratulations,
Brian.

Sculpy 3 if I'm not mistaken. Had a few open pockets between the canes while I was turning it, but they were very small and a nothing some ground up shavings and thin CA couldn't take care of.

For a first attempt, I'm really thrilled with this one. I can just see it now. I come home from work and there is a non stop flow of freshly baked blanks on my to-do list.

Gonna have to get Chrissy her own ID here soon .

She has one but never logs on. Had to set her up for a bash entry and a PITH a few years back.

She's more into Facebook than forums.

Thanks for the kudos all. We've been brainstorming ways to do some new things. Have some cool ideas of things to come
