This wood needs the cholla to be hardened with CA or Minwax hardner, Hand turn the drill bit, crush the turquoise and fill in the gaps with turquoise and use thin ca to hold the stone.
Have fun.

Great looking pen!

A question: Where do you get the crushed turquoise from?
The only crushed stone i have found looks to be too large in size.
I have checked out e bay and a few other stores but not found anything to my liking.

Thanks,

Andrew

Andrew,

Take the turquoise use a 4"inch cast iron end to hold the turquoise and use a two 1 inch cast ends with a 1 pipe to crush the stone. I use a hammer to drive the get it to small pieces and then hand crush to finer stone. contact me with any questions?
