This is the first piece of Cholla Cactus that I've turned. It was cast in dark purple resin (not by me - picked this up on another forum). Kit is a Chrome Atrax Rollerball. CA finish. My wife and I both really like how this one turned out. (My wife loves checking out my pens as soon as they're finished. And, if they get her seal of approval, then I know I did good!)

If your wife tends to grab your pens and keep them, then you know you done a good job. Pen looks really cool.
Well, she hasn't run off with this one - yet. However, I might end up keeping this one for myself!
She does, however, have more pens that I've made in her personal collection than I've got in mine! And she's recently gone through my bins of blanks again and has 4 or 5 blanks sitting on my bench that she wants me to make into pens for her!
