Does anyone have info on this burl? Where it's from, where "I" can get some?

It's the burl from the American Smoke Tree, but is only found in Kentucky I believe. If I'm remembering right, it's a root burl that grows in the limestone and has to be removed using dynamite. This is all from memory, which isn't always good, but I think I have it right. I just cut my piece yesterday and will be making my first pen this weekend hopefully.

Sources, contact Lou (DCBluesman) or Dawn (PR_Princess) I believe both have/had some.

That's a truly beautiful pen. Somebody is going to be a happy camper when they get their hands on that baby!

That is one beautiful looking piece of wood. You did it proud and a good choice of kits. Thanks for showing and have a great turning day.
