Chittam Burl Bullet

From a small piece of American Smoke Tree burl left over I had Richard Martin of Fountain City Furniture make me a pen out of it and a 30-06 shell.

Came out pretty cool. Great present for a hunter in your life.

Haven't gotten a lathe yet. Probably this summer. Just in the wood collecting mode right now. Believe it, I'd love to turn my own. Still reading up on it all.

Man, I want some Chittam Burl. It grows right next to my house, but hard to find a burl that I can harvest. (Most of Monte Sano is proctected land)
