This is a piece of alumilite inlaid with polyester resin tinted with a rose mica. It required a number of layers, but the layering added a little depth to the pattern, I think. The inlays were cut with a CNC mill.

Looks very good. I would love to see someone do this without the use of a laser. I think it can be done. May have to put this on my to try list. :)

What are you using for you rotary indexer? I have a CNC machine but I have only seen the rotary indexer for the shopbot.
