I'm not sure how to describe the blank used on this pen other than casting magic and to apologize that my photo abilities can not do it justice.

I've done my best to show the pen from both angles looking at the same size. Normally I don't care for showing a pen "upside down" but it was the only way to show what this blank does. It looks almost solid red when viewed one direction while it shimmers with a layered quilted gold colors when viewed from the other direction.

I don't recall if I was told this came from a cast away box or a casting competition entry , but it was poured by a member from this site and unfortunately I don't recall who. Perhaps the magician will reveal himself through the course of this thread?

Eric, that blank is amazing. I wish the pictures could do it justice compared to live and in person.

Randy, the pen is an El Grande.
