a cherry day

I cut up some cherry burl today, these are from the crotch that was next to the burl. I love cherry with chrome!

Sorry if the pics suck. This was my first successful attempt at ca/blo, though I don't think I'll try again until I own some sort of breathing device. Comments are welcome on the pens and any suggestions for using ca without an expensive respiratory device.

Christian - Excellent pens and Beautiful crotch (Do you guys know how uncomfortable it makes me when I say that?) If you have a dust collector, turn it on and it will suck the CA fumes away from you. If not, use a fan until you get a dust colector.

Thanks all, I'll be trying a fan this afternoon. Maybe I'll be able to get a thicker finish next time.

Nice pens, and the cherry does look very nice with chrome. I made some cherry with gold once and it just didn't have the same look. Thanks for the idea to use chrome next time.[]
