Cherry Burl with Segments

Here is a Cherry Burl (thanks Briskar/Steve) with african blackwood and purple dyed buckeye burl.

Nice color combo Brandon. Looks like you may have the problem I've had a time or too - segments aren't at 90 degrees and parallel to each other(basically they are angled or slanted). One way to correct this is to break it down, put it on the lathe, and use your parting tool to cut out about 2mm at the joint and install an inlay material. I crushed up some coal once and did this, came out beautiful. Either way, it looks good to me!
