Thanks to the generosity of Edgar (edohmann) in a recent trade we made, I present you with the Chechen Baron Fountain pen. I had never worked with Chechen wood before. It was a little tough drilling because of the density, but turned and sanded very nice.

Beautiful pen! The last time I did anything with chechen, I had a bit of a reaction with it. It's now on my same list as cocobolo.

Didn't seem to have a reaction. I was wearing long sleeves and a mask while working with it. Haven't had a reaction with cocobolo either...yet.
