Celticus Irish Bog Oak

Turned my first IBO today. It is on Celticus Jr. hardware and is finished with Walnut oil and Pens Plus finish. First time with the new finish and I think it is going to work out well.

While I do not have an aversion to CA, certain woods look good with an almost glossy but non-plastic looking finish and IBO is one of them IMO.

interesting. never seen that kit before. has anybody done a breakdown of one? you had a good match up with the bog oak, i like it.

Looks very good,the bog oak is awesome, i also like the pen plus finish i wonder if it repels the odd rain drop without staining or marking
