Thats the beauty of pen turning, there are so many different kits available and nobody is going to like them all. Everyone has a right to an opinion.
Myself Being a Celt in Wales enjoy making them they sell fairly regularly to fellow celts.

Sorry, But I think those kits Make the pen look cheap
Whether you like the kit or not, the workmanship and overall appearance are superb.
