I've done a few Celtic pens and decided to do one with a Celtic knot. I make my knots using stacked veneers to give it a stranded look

That is a really attractive pen !!!!! . Using the stacked veneers the way you do not only gives the knot a stranded look but also gives the knot some interesting depth. I love it !!

Thanks y'all. That is one of my favorite pens to make. It's the one in my avatar that I did with a thread wrap. I want to get another one now and do a shamrock wrap for it. I'll do that right after the half dozen or more that I want to do before it.

I really like this! You should refine it and make it even better. Oh... and sand paper will make that acute CA Rash go away quick :)

I had plans on refining it a lot more but the thread wrapping thing has grown a lot more than expected. I wanted to do another one using brass shim stock on the outside of the veneers.
