The corian is atlantis and pompeii red and the bands are made with aluminum. This is the first time I have used aluminum in a blank. Next time I think I will try a few more bands.

That is a great grouping of colors.
You were smart to use the chrome finish with the aluminum.
It all makes for a great pen.

That's super nice Don ! I really like the aluminum knot . Is it possible to double up the aluminum ? Or would a thicker piece be used if I wanted it wider ? Just trying to learn something here ! Beautiful pen Don !

It shouldn't be any problem to double up the aluminum. But you should be able to find a variety of thicknesses at most hardware stores.
