This is what you get when you sink the wood strips for a celtic knot halfway. Dad made the blank, The wife turned it. I LOVE this pen. It's so sweet.

Very good!! I personally love the 1/2 way though knots. I almost think they are cooler than the full knots.

If you get enough contrast between materials, the 1/2 knots are extremely cool.

I made the same mistake, but yours turned out real well and looks good. Your wife did real well on her turning. The transition from kit to wood look perfect. Good work.

He's where he should be. Happy and enjoying his time. It's only a little over an hour to his house. Just hard to find the kind of free time needed to visit often enough.
