This was my first attempt at segmenting a couple months ago. I just never got it turned until Saturday. It is some old cedar I had laying around that I put some walnut and aluminum in for accent.

Great Piece of Segmenting, Kelly.
Good choice of the Walnut to support the Aluminium Insert.
Had you thought of Segmenting, both sections and assembling them in a continious alignment?
Superb Fit and Finish.
Congratulations,
Brian.

Great job on the segment! That is a nice looking pen!
What type of finish did you use?

Just a thought for the next one.....I am wondering what it would look like if the clip is turned 180 degrees. It appears that the clip and the segment lines are going different ways...one eye wants to go one way while my other eye goes the other way.
If you do another and flip the clip, post a pic.

The finish is CA and BLO.

Good thot on the clip. I hassled on where to put it. I'll think about your suggestion. Thanks!
