I brought a fallen Cedar branch home with me a year ago during a vacation. Turned this pen today with it with my step son. He enjoyed it. Giving it to his uncle as a present.

How old is the youngin'? And does he have the pen turnin' fever now?




Cedar is an amazingly great wood! Congrats on the bio-mass rescue!

My stepson is 10. He helped out with the gluing and the some of the turning. Not going to let him loose on the band saw, or the drill press yet. Cedar was enjoyable to turn. Smells good.
