Since the pens were returned to the teams I felt like showing it off one more time. Our team consisted of:

Don Vann - Vanngo5d
Aurelian Cojocaru - AurelianC
Jim Fischer - j_b_fischer
Chris Nirenberg - cnirenberg
Jonathon Brooks - Brooks803

I won't get into who did what. We all contributed. Our theme was "The Pen is Mightier than the Sword.". So when you take the body of the pen out it's like drawing a sword from it's sheath.

For materials we used a woodgrain acrylic for the cap with black ebonite finials and front section. The pen body is cast alumilite. We used a #5 polished steel Bock nib.

We hope you enjoy it! After the pen has finished touring it's makers it will be sent back to Mike Broberg to be auctioned off to help with the Tornado relief in Oklahoma. So keep your eye's open for that!

Thanks for looking!

That is very slick! Some great details on that pen. I like the wood grain black barrel a lot. Well done.

I love the way you showed several images before you revealed the pen with the cap off. This pen is just spectacular and what a surprise when you removed the cap. Great pen.

I saw this pen on Saturday. Jonathon you did a great job on the whole process. This is one sweet write instrument. All of the threads are nicely done, and the over all design is great. Thanks for, stopping by and showing me that pen.

fantastic craftsmanship on all parts of this pen, hat off to each of you that made this happen. I hope that the auction for this pen brings what its really worth and the contribution to disaster relief in our own country is a great gesture.
