Here's a couple pens I finished up last night.
Pics aren't the greatest - I had every intention of taking pics outside this morning, but it was snowing pretty good and I needed to get one of them sent off on its way to its new home before our post office closed at noon.
Gunmetal Bolt Action with Stabilized Cherry Burl. This was a custom order by a good friend who is a gunsmith and precision rifle builder who has just completed another gun build and will be sending it on to his customer as a thank you gift.
Chrome Slimline with pink acrylic. The pic doesn't show it well, but there's real nice swirls and sparkle in the blank. This is the first piece of acrylic that I've turned and I'm extremely happy with how it turned out - I managed to get a flawless polish on it. This pen is going to be a Christmas gift for one of my wife's cousins.
