A while ago I got some blanks from Keith in Baltimore and they've been chillin' in the shop for too long. I finally turned a few and want y'all to see how outstanding the blanks he casts are. They turn so easily and polish up so brightly it's just fun to use 'em. They drill easily, but turning them is absolutely the most fun.
When turning PR, I use a shaving box connected to a ShopVac, and while turning these,
long streams of PR peel off the blanks and form incredible ribbons that run off the blank and curve down the hose. Y'all need to try 'em.

These photos don't look nearly as good as the actual blanks look in reality.

First is a 308-casing pen with a Burgundy with metalflake swirl upper barrel:

Second is a black enamel slimline with a Blue with silver metalflake swirl cast blank:

These were both turned with a skew, quickly wet-sanded with MicroMesh, and polished with Novus 3 & 2. Outstanding casting Keith. I thoroughly enjoyed turning these.
