Hi All,

Here are two blanks from one of my casting post titled "A Lucky Casting Mishap" (http://www.penturners.org/forum/showthread.php?t=58869)

In picture 1, the blank (turned) on the left is the outside-left piece from "A Lucky Casting Mishap". This tube was not painted. The blank on the right was the center piece and the tube was painted black.

The difference is day and night with these two blanks.

To quote Forrest Gump, casting is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you are goin' to git (in this case until the blank is turned).

I did not complete the blank on the left - have not decide what to do with it yet.

The completed pen is Sierra Elegant Beauty black titanium and titanium gold.
Wet sanded to 1000 grit, HUT Plastic Polish, then follow by ICE Turtle Wax.

Comments are welcome.

Thanks for looking.
