Casted Cutoffs

I took some cut-offs from old pen blanks and cast them in Silimar 41. The cup was a test for a project that I might take on next. I decided to make a matching pen and plan to give them to my new son in law for christmas. My daughter said I should make something for his desk at work. The transition from acrylic to wood on the cup is not as clean as I would like it.

Great Pen, and Cup Cody,
Excellent Casting, Turning and Finish.
The Photograph, IMHO, should have been on a Plain White Background, to relieve the Strong and Deep Red Tones.
