Cast Walnut

Now that it's warming up I have made some time to play with casting again. The coloring isn't right but still turned out (cute pun)
Walnut Burl with Blues added. I sold a couple boxes of this wood here.

Looks good, even if it is not "perfect" in your eyes. I know some people that would buy it in a heartbeat.

Let me know if you decide to cast some blanks like that. I will purchase a few.

There are a few very fine lines of blue in the bottom.
I am working with some new material for coloring and this is just a test blank that I made into a pen. Of course it's now part of the inventory with a price tag hanging off it
Not all test end up in the trash can.
