These were requested by a lady that used to live in Ireland with her family and now resides in Indiana. The maple was harvested in Indiana so the barrels both have a link to where they lived or live. The carving was done with a rotorazor and highlighted with a woodburner. Thanks for looking and a special thanks to those that comment.

Bruce nice idea, really nice looking carving, and a good way to save on Irish Bog Oak sure would like to find a few pieces of IBO never have tried it.

Bruce, now that's how a Celtic knot should look. Great job on it.

Did the IBO give you any problems? I did find one blank that was rather punky at one end , but was able to save it without a problem.

Nothing a bunch of CA couldn't hold together.:biggrin: Sanding dust and CA, can't beat it.
