I can't compete with Eric's Iwo Jima cartridges, but here are a few I made up for my show next weekend... hopefully they will sell well.

The cartridges are mixture of deer antler and various woods.
I have two El Grande's, one is Bethlemhem Olivewood and the other is Wild African Olive.
The Baron is BOW. All of the wood has a BLO & CA finish. The deer antler is mostly Hut PP, although a couple don't have any polish except sanded through 12,000 and one or two has a CA coating to seal the marrow and then Hut PP.

Appreciate your comments.. pro or con.

When turning the antler or any wood for the top, what bushings are you using or are you using bushings??? Or are you just measuring it??.

Eric,
That's why I like the IAP.. always a good idea coming along... your solution is so simple, a simpleton like me couldn't or didn't even think of it.

John T., up until now I've just use the slimline bushing as spacer and used my calipers to get the size right.. I'll definitely have to try the cartridge end for a bushing now...

I've taken to making bushings from (insert drum roll here) a case head.

It just happens to be exactly the right size!

Eric

Now that is a great idea. I am also going to use them as a center band sort of. Thanks another problem solved.
