Carbine Patriotic Parade

These are two Carbine pens from Berea, one chrome and one gunmetal. The blank is a Color Explosion from Exotic Blanks, called Patriotic Parade. I was able to get both pens from one blank. The blank was VERY soft, and turned easily, almost too easily. I almost turned the first one too far. I would have preferred it to be a tad bit harder. But still, it made some nice looking pens. I made these to donate to the Freedom Pens Project.

Very nice! The blank and pen look wonderful. Looks more like an M14 than a Carbine to me, but that's fine. Awesome work.

You're right, it does look more like an M14 than an M1 Carbine. But Berea named it, so it is what it is.
