Calypso in Black and White Ebony

This is another one of my kitless pens , it's a Calypso . It's made from some Black and White Ebony that I got from Joe (Igran7) , 2 7mm tubes a 7mm transmission and some Brass . This design is based on the Longwood pen but with a little more heft . I made this one without a CB because I was able to get a great grain match and the CB would have broken it up too much . I really love the grain in this wood , thanks Joe .

Thanks for the kind words everyone . I really love the grain patterns . I made a special parting tool to cut these blanks to keep as much of a grain match as possible , I think it worked .
