Another recent commissioned pair of custom fountain pens. I was tasked with a coffee theme so this is what I came up with. The materials were selected by my customer and I cast them myself. He also supplied me with some special nib units to use. :coffee:

First up uses a Parker Duofold International 18k nib unit and my Mardi Gras material with black ebonite accents. The bands are silver plated brass and the roll stop is a gold coffee bean that was also plated in silver. This one has 12mm triple start threads.

The 2nd pen uses a Parker Duofold 18k nib and my Mocha Swirl material with black ebonite accents. On this one the brass bands were plated gold and since the roll stop is already gold it was left alone. Because of the size of the nib unit I had to use 13mm triple start threads.

Group shot using a matching double slot pen rest that I made with some Mocha Swirl material.

WOW indeed !!!!! ... You surely must enjoy your work, Jonathon ... I sure enjoy looking at it !!!!!

I'd sure love to make pens like those, but I wouldn't know where to get gold-plated coffee beans .......
