I've had some blanks from Curtis for quite some time and finally turned another. This was a clear blank so I painted the tubes, the inside of the hole, and even added paint to the glue. Maybe overkill on the paint, but at least I don't see the tubes anywhere (Using a half inch drill on the upper barrel, it was a pretty snug fit by the time I added the paint).

It's hard not to like these blanks!

Super nice. I think the classic black tube with the natural cactus on the chrome is he best combo going.
