C-130 Pen

Had someone ask me to make a pen for her hubby who is a C-130 pilot. The pics really do not do it justice, but they are the best I could come up with. Decal on acrylic with CA over the top MM 12000. Plane is on the side facing you as you write right handed and the emblem for the squad is below the clip.

Boy does that bring back some memories Hans! I have a number of jumps out of C-130's. Incredible plane to ride to altitude and jump. As you exit the plane there is a brief moment of relative calm, until you pass through the "burble" behind the plane. Then it is as if this great big hand comes and smacks you across the sky. The run in speed of a Herc. is faster than the velocity of a falling body, so when you exit you actually slow down to terminal velocity.

Beautiful work. Where did you get your decals? Did you print them out yourself?

Yes, I made them myself on my color laser with decal paper.
