Made a couple pens and finished a bow. Spent several hours on a spalted elm bowl that blew up on me. :( It was a learning experience as is everything to me. Lot to turn...I mean learn. The bowl is purpleheart, then pen on top is kingwood. The other pen is bocote.

Very nice job on all. What finish? Great job on paying attention on the turning to size to fit the CB, Nib and finial.

The finish is simple sanding through 600, MM through 12000, a HUT PPP wax, papertoweled off, then grocery bag paper to shine.

It was my first between centers pen. I LOVE turning between centers rather than the mandrel turning. I've just have to get more bushings.
