A Gold Slimline in apple wood with .308 casing finished with CA

A Gold Churchhill Fountain pen with Amboyna burl finished with Enduro.

A Gold Churchhill roller ball in Hawaiian Lace wood with CA finish.

A Gold Churchhill Roller ball in Purple Heart with a CA finish.

A Satin Pearl European Deco in Milo with a CA finish.

A Satin Pearl European Deco in Wispy Spalted rock Maple with a Enduro finish.

I think you forgot to use the macro setting on your camera, except on the Amboyna and Lacewood Churchills.

Gerry, I did not use macro setting on any of the photos, not sure why they came out blurry. same focus point and same distance, and well withing the focal range of the camera. Io me it looks like the focal point is between the pen and the back drop.

Was the camera on a tripod? Could be hand shake.

aye on a tripod, with timed shutter release, only thing I can think of is the camera focused on something in the background, and not all the way back either.
