This is a pen that I made a while back. The woods I used are dyed green maple burl, yellow cedar burl and dyed black veneer.

I was really scared when I was turning it because you never know what is on the inside of the stab. map. burl blanks. I was scared that the colour was going to be off, but thankfully it was a really consistant colour and it worked really well.

I like this pen alot. I do not like the cap portion but that is just a matter of taste thing. You did a great job with the segmenting. The colors work well together too. Thanks for showing.

I have seen several peices of yellow cedar burl lately and all of them have been really good looking pieces of wood. this is no different. Now I just gotta find me a few pieces of that elusive stuff.
