I finally finished my first "art" pen. I received a custom made knife for Christmas last year and I wanted to make a pen to match. When I get my lightbox going, I'll photograph the knife and the pen together. For now, here is a scan of the pen. Its my first laminate. I combined Turquoise truestone, pickgaurd laminate and buffalo horn. Any comments welcome!

Stunning pen! The contrast in colors, angles, and the hardware have created a work of art that you should be very proud of!

Very pretty - I like the way the red picguard is bracketed by the black, which is picked up by the turquoise. Well done!

Thank you all for the comments. I don't think the pen turned out as nice as the knife but it really was fun to make. Look for the post with the knife soon!
