you know, i thought antler melt bad. but i'm real happy with my efforts on turning this for the first time. oh yea, the wood it's picture on is some found red cedar.

Laurie,

That looks great. I've got a Buffalo horn blank ready to go. Can you give me some tips on turning and polishing this material? Did you soak it in water before turning? What type chisels did you use (skew, scraper, gouge)? I hope mine will turn out as nice as yours.
