Buckeye Jr. Gent Gift

This is the second Jr Gent II that Ive made. This one will be a gift for my retiring LT. The wood is a buckeye blank I bought from low 48 (Rich) at this years show in IL. Thanks again Rich for the outstanding blanks! I was able to scanned a signature and badge number and applied them to the blank. The cap finial was changed after getting the great idea from Texatdurango. (Thanks for sharing). The finish is several thin coats of ca during sanding and then 5 brushed coats of dipping lacquer. The kit is Black Ti. All comments welcome. Thanks

Yes, it was my attempt after reading several here with the water decal paper and CA.

Wow looks great. I'm always amazed at the variations you can get from Buckeye. A lot of pens made from it and they can all be so radically different.
