One of my favorites to turn is Buckeye Burl. This one is on a Black Ti/Plat Cigar.

This is was a from a freebee from exotics called Granite Pebble. It looks a lot better in person. However, was a bit bummed when I realized that some of the black paint I had back painted the blank with got scratched off near the nib when I glued in the blanks.

C&C always welcome. It has been a few months since I've had time to turn much and was surprised how out of practice I had gotten. I turned both of these a smidge too far, but was able to save them with some gentle sanding and a little medium CA.

Dave, That Buckeye Burl, is to Die for. What a Beautiful piece of Timber.
The Granite Pebble is also very nice, but when shown with the Buckeye, I can't take my eye's from the Burl.
I couldn't notice any problem with the diameters, they look Terrific.
And your Superb Finish as Expected.
Brian.

Dave, I'm with ya on the Buckeye Burl. It is one if my favorites as well and the incredible color variation is mother nature's gift to us. Great job all around on this one.
