Another Buckeye Euro. I was experimenting with some new ideas re: finishing. I think it went well. Comments?

Haha, Chris. A little hard to explain, but it has to do with the application of the CA. I use a CA/BLO mix, with a paper towel, and apply while turning. I was experimenting with using a very light CA, and applying in directly on the blank while I was using the towel to smooth it. It allows me to put multiple coats on at one time. I would almost have to show you.

I'd like to see a bigger picture, but from what I do see, I'd say the experiment was a success. It looks like you started with a pretty dramatic piece of wood before you finished it, too. Great result all around.

I tried using thin Ca with paper towel once. It wound up flapping around and around and around and drying onto the tube.
