Got a slab of BEB from JmHoff10500 and boy its some nice stuff. every cut i made for 3/4 in blanks yielded a thin strip just big enough for slims, so i decided to turn some out, the first is mine with a custom tulipwood CB, the second is my friend Zach's first pen, it has a perfect shiny CA finish but its in his kitchen which is dark so you can't really tell, the next time I see him I'll try to snap a better pic

yeah it was a sweet slab of wood

the cb i did by cutting thin strips of wood (CB thickness) and drilling holes in them, then gluing them like 1/4'' apart on a tube, cut it apart, planed each one with sandpaper, and vioala theres a custom cb, just add an extra bushing on the mandrel and your ready to turn
