What is a "poor man's" stabilization job you ask?
It is the process of using very thin CA glue while you are turning the blank on your lathe.
I turn a bit, soak in CA, wait for the gases to dissipate and glue to cure, then turn some more. Repeat.
A little tedious but I don't have the budget for a stabilization kit yet.
VERY happy with the results. This one also has a danish oil/CA finish with plastic polish for the added shine.
