Buckeye burl set

I got some nice buckeye burl from Rockb awhile back and finally got around to getting it turned. I really like the trimline/streamline style and I liked the gunmetal with it. Just drilled a small hole on a slant in the base.

The finish on the pen is awesome! Well done! I would personally cut the stand down to a smaller block size, seems to be huge compared to the pen, but that's my opinion. Regardless, you have a winner there.

Yes Jim, just drilled at a slant.
@ Todd~normally I would have made it smaller, but it looked so nice I couldn't decide where to cut it lol, so I didn't.
