Haven't taken any photos of the pens I've been making lately, just because I can't seem to get any good pics. So I thought I try again today since this buckeye turned out so nice.
Used a rhodium Emperor fountain pen kit. Buckeye blank is stabilized. Did a CA finish, 3 coats thin and 3 coats medium. Micro meshed to 12,000.
Wish the pics were better to show off how beautiful this pen turned out.

Sweet pen! I had the same frustrations with photos and using a photo tent until I decided to try taking pics outside. Just wait till the sun is about set and take the pic in a shaded area. Pretty much fool-proof.

Zack I did try taking photos outside today while overcast, but sun was coming in and out. I use to do alot pics selling on eBay (but not pens) and used to get great photos. Just seems pens are hard to photograph. Will have to try in evening. Thanks for all the comments from the rest of you guys.
