This is a blank that I have been looking at for awhile in my box. It is a Cross Cut Bubinga with a ton of chatoyance the pictures do not show. I am not a big fan of straight cut bubinga but this is the way to do it if you dare. The blank was long enought so that when I blew out the upper portion I was able to use the cutoff which matched the grain. 8 coats of Medium CA dollowed by wet sanding through all the mm grits.
