Brown Mallee Burl, and Black Acrylic

I've been busy with work stuff, so these are the only two pens I've worked on in the past 2 or 3 weeks. The first is a brown mallee burl on a Cambridge kit. I really don't like that strip of black plastic on the centerband, it just cheapens the whole look.

The second is black crushed pearl with white flakes, on a Gatsby click with rhodium finish. That's something someone asked me for way back in January, and I'm only getting around to it now!

Brown Mallee is one of my favourite woods to work with! Not too hard but takes a great shine just from sanding! Still not sure about the black section on the new cambridges! But great pen anyway!

Really like the brown mallee. Shame about those black parts. Was planning on getting some of them but it put me off.
