Nothing wrong with that at all. That's the great thing about gator, even the pieces that don't have the flashy row of tooth sockets still have really nice texture. And of course there is still the "Wow! Really?" factor when you tell people what it is. Nicely done!

Yes a little Copper fill looks red

Gary if your talking about the spot just below the CB, not a hole just black powder coat powder fill
Roy, that's look very nice to me and very unusual. I'd like to ask though what is the brown color in the bone, or did you add it to the blank?
Phillip all large fill work on my gator bone pens are colored powdercoat .
