My wife and I got down in the shop today and turned a couple of Johnathan Brooks blanks. This is the one I turned, a swirly blue/gold on a Polaris click.

Hey, Gary love the blue. How much harder is it to use the click kits than the basic ones we have been using?

These Polaris pens are a pain in the butt compared to a slimline pen. You have a metal slug you have to press down inside the barrel, then there's a bunch of small parts you have to assemble on top of the pen.

The blank is really much prettier than the picture shows, it has gold flakes in it that are not apparent in the photo.

That's very true! I ended up trying to take a video of it outside on a sunny day just to show that part off with a pen I made from it a while back. Even so, it still looks awesome!
