Brooks blank with Desert Iron Wood.

Ok, he just sent me the blank, he didn't pour it.:tongue:

It was a blank he sent me from the Super Bowl Pool. One thing I decided to do was make some "Pens for the Troops" using some of the blanks everyone sent.

So here's 1 of them, and I really liked how it came out. It's Cape Fear Riverwood Pine. I thought it would look really nice with an accent centerband, so I had a small piece of Desert Ironwood Burl, and I think it goes well with the blank.

That is really nice. It jumps of the screen. Beautiful. Yes the center band is fabulous.

I have seen a few really cool slim lines lately and this is definitely one of them. I love that center band. Great pen.
