My projects are not going well this weekend so I have given up for the day. I cast three sets of blanks to finally get the one I wanted for this simple slimline pen with a pink ribbon clip. I made this for one of my coworkers who had surgery for breast cancer last week. She is a tiny lady with small hands so I went with a slimline. I like the pink color that I was able to get just right on my third try.

Please include Agnes in your prayers, she had surgery for kidney cancer last year and is now dealing with breast cancer. She lost her husband to stomach cancer several years ago after a long and painful battle. Cancer has certainly hit her hard. She is one of the toughest people I know. She once cornered a thief in our office who walked in off the street during lunch time and was going through offices looking for purses and wallets. She kept him there until security arrived. He was more than twice her size.
